Full of contagious energy, Nancy’s role as a member of the public relations team is to help get the word out about the exciting things TMI and its clients are accomplishing. Her focus is reaching a variety of people through digital, social, print and broadcast media and to assist with other communications needs.
I’ve always believed that our differences, when combined, strengthen an organization as well as the individuals involved. Working with TMI— known for its expertise in diversity and inclusion strategy, no blame and shame attitude and B Corp values of social and global responsibility — is another way for me to put my belief into action.
Nancy has extensive experience in television news and production as well as public relations. She has reported news on numerous television stations across the U.S., including NBC 12 and CBS 6 in Richmond, Independent Network News, and in cities including San Diego, Portland, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Hartford, Richmond, and Honolulu. She has written and produced video news releases that were broadcast on numerous stations including CNN. She is also known for her public relations work for the Science Museum of Virginia.
Nancy’s comprehensive media and public relations experience gives her the ability to create appealing and newsworthy releases and other written pieces that accurately tell the story of TMI as it interacts with its clients and their communities.
When she’s not working on other people’s stories, Nancy is writing a mystery, enjoying her two furry, rescued housemates, and following the path of life’s next great adventure.
